Hundreds learn how to become citizens

SOUTH GATE -- Downey Adult School's Career and Education Center recently participated in a United States citizenship information workshop in South Gate, which was sponsored by Assemblyman Hector De La Torre (D-South Gate).The workshop, held Feb. 28 at the South Gate Park Auditorium, provided hundreds of people with information regarding citizenship and ESL classes.
