Joyful Singers set to entertain

DOWNEY - The Joyful Singers, under the direction of Chris Squires, will perform "A Choral Celebration" Monday as part of the OASIS program at Downey Adult School.The Joyful Singers are a new mixed-chorus. Their performance will include solo favorites, choral harmony and musical skits. The OASIS program welcomes all older adults. Programs are held inside the newly-renovated Harriett Paine Event Center at Downey Adult School. Enrollment is free and begins at 2:45 p.m. The program begins at 3:45 p.m. and is followed by an optional dinner which may be purchased for $3.50 at time of enrollment.
