KNX to broadcast live from Downey June 12

DOWNEY – KNX 1070 will be broadcasting live from Porto’s Bakery June 12 starting at 1 p.m., as part of its “KNX On Your Corner” series on Southern California communities. According to a press release, KNX’s coverage “will focus on Downey’s rich history, current events and unique points of interest as special guests with local insight are featured throughout the day.”

The public is invited to the live broadcast.

Frank Mottek will host the KNX Business Hour at 1 p.m., and Jim Thornton and Diane Thompson will anchor the afternoon news from 2-7 p.m.
