Leilani Anaya crowned Miss Downey 2026

DOWNEY — Leilani Anaya was crowned Miss Downey 2026 at the Downey Rose Float Association’s 69th annual Miss Downey Pageant on Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Downey Theatre.
Her court includes Jocelyn Gonzalez, Gisselle Andrea Hernandez, Melanie Silva and Angelina Velarde.
Leilah Simonian was crowned Miss Teen Downey. Teen princesses include Sophia Anaya, Jovana Lily Gonzalez and Isabel Muñoz.
The title of Junior Miss Downey went to Mikayla Alvarez. Her court includes Alyssa Carrillo, Aubrey Rose Cedillo and Clover Curtice.
Mavis Cortez was crowned Little Miss Downey. Little princesses include Kensie Carrillo and Jenna Quiroz.
“We are extremely proud to have been hosting the Miss Downey Pageant for 69 years,” the Downey Rose Float Association said in a statement. “Downey produces amazing youth who are smart, talented and compassionate. They serve as ambassadors for the Downey Rose Float and the city in many local events throughout their reign.
“We would like to thank all of the volunteers, sponsors, parents and contestants for another successful year.”
