LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Counting stars

Dear Editor:

On July 26, "60 Minutes" had on an astrophysicist named Neil Tyson. He was stating that the stars shown on the movie "Titanic" were not correct, so the people that made the movie changed it to the way it should have been.

Ten minutes later they showed the picture Apollo 8 had taken of the Earth as it circled around the moon. But there is not one single star where there should be thousands of stars all around the Earth.

Mr. Tyson does not state that there should be stars all around the Earth. Why not? Is he afraid that NASA could ruin his reputation if he pointed this out?
