Library friends signing up new members

DOWNEY - The Friends of the Downey City Library will hold their annual Valentine's Membership Drive beginning Feb. 14.Current members who have not renewed their membership are urged to come to the library between Feb. 14-19 and sign up along with new members. Volunteers will be at the table inside the library from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday. The Friends of the Downey City Library raise funds to enhance the Downey City Library.
