Local residents excelling at Azusa

DOWNEY -- Four Downey residents have made the spring 2008 academic Dean's List at Azusa Pacific University, a designation for students with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.Janette Fragoso is a graduate of Calvary Chapel High School and is majoring in social work. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Juventino Fragoso. Jessica Pena graduated from Warren and is majoring in marketing. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casimiro Pena. Bethany Pillow graduated from Calvary Chapel and is majoring in journalism. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Pillow. Timothy Sipos graduated from Downey and is majoring in marketing.
