Man found shot dead at Downey liquor store

DOWNEY — A 44-year-old Cerritos man was found shot dead behind the counter of a Downey liquor store Tuesday night.

Police responded to ASL Liquor, located at 8500 Paramount Blvd., at about 10:15 p.m. and discovered the man deceased behind the store counter.

Police did not disclose the man’s identity or whether he worked at the liquor store.
