Naves finishes basic training

DOWNEY - Air Force Airman Raul Naves has completed basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Tex.Naves completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. By completing the program, Naves also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Naves is the son of Raul Naves of Downey. He graduated from Downey High School in 2007.
