New locations for 9-11, Veterans Day ceremonies

Due to construction at the civic center, Downey has relocated its scheduled 9-11 and Veterans Day ceremonies.

The 9-11 remembrance ceremony will now take place at the Downey Cemetery on Sept. 11 at 10 a.m.

The Veterans Day commemoration will be held at the Columbia Memorial Space Center on Nov. 11 at 10 a.m.
