OLPH launches auction to support school and parish programs

DOWNEY – Our Lady of Perpetual Help School is hosting its annual community silent and live auction, offering a wide range of items and experiences to support academic programs, school facilities and student enrichment.

Bidding is open online through the school’s GiveSmart auction site. Proceeds help fund technology, classroom supplies, facility improvements and student services at the long-established Catholic school.

The auction catalog includes dozens of appealing offerings, from themed baskets and local experiences to getaway packages and unique keepsakes. Highlights of available items include:

Silent Auction Baskets and Packages

  • Disney Dreams Basket with $300 Disney gift card and themed items

  • Martini Lounge home bar set with liquor and accessories

  • Perfect Picnic Experience package with gourmet treats and tickets to The Huntington Library

Organizers said the auction reflects the support of families, local businesses and community members who donate items and experiences to benefit the school.

“Our community comes together each year to support the education and formation of our students,” a school representative said. “Every bid helps ensure OLPH can continue to offer a strong academic program and enriching opportunities for our children.”
