Pancake breakfast tomorrow

DOWNEY - The 61st annual Rotary/YMCA Pancake Breakfast, featuring those unique Mickey Mouse pancakes that were first shaped in the mind of Rotarian Angelo Cardono, takes place from 7:30-11 a.m. tomorrow at Warren High School.Entertainment will include performances by the Y's children's dance group. There is a venue change because construction of a new cafeteria gets underway soon at DHS. Proceeds from the popular breakfast event support the activities of the community's youth. A single ticket costs $5.00 (five tickets will cost only $20). Tomorrow also affords a chance to see Warren's brand-new culinary arts facility. For information, call the Y at (562) 862-4201.
