Piano store owner is guest speaker

DOWNEY - Stephen Schroeder, owner of Schroeder's Pianos in Paramount and president of the non-profit Noble Purpose Inc., will be guest speaker when the Christian Business Men's Club meets Feb. 9 at the Sizzler in Downey.Schroeder and his wife, Xinwei, established and oversee the work Noble Purpose does in China, saving and developing the lives of disabled children. The meeting begins at noon. The club also announced that starting in February it would begin meeting the first Thursday of each month instead of weekly. The March guest is former radio program host Roscoe Turner.
