Plumbing & heating class opens

DOWNEY - Downey Adult School's Construction Academy is offering a plumbing and heating class beginning Feb. 28 at Warren High School.The 15-week class will give students hands-on experience in the installation of water, waste and gas piping. Students will also learn basic heating, sizing, design and plumbing code. A certificate of completion is awarded at the end of the program. Classes will be held Mondays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. at Warren High, in room J3. Cost is $499 with a $100 deposit upon enrollment. Intermediate English language skills are required.
