Police offering tips to burglar proof home

DOWNEY - The local chapter of the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees will meet Wednesday at noon at the Barbara J. Riley Community and Senior Center.Two Downey police officers are scheduled to speak at 1 p.m. Their topic is "Burglar Proofing Your Home." The public is invited at no cost.
