Precision Honda opens new flagship dealership in Downey
DOWNEY – A new era for car buyers has arrived in Downey with the grand opening of Precision Honda, a state-of-the-art automotive dealership located at 11000 Florence Avenue. Formerly known as L.A. Honda World, the rebranded dealership marks a milestone as the first ground-up GeneraCon Four Honda facility in the United States.
The 90,000-square-foot facility features a full lineup of Honda vehicles, certified pre-owned inventory, and a wide selection of used cars, along with comprehensive service and parts departments. Designed to offer an elevated, hospitality-driven experience, the dealership’s open-concept showroom invites guests to explore and customize vehicles with help from expert product specialists in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
“From the moment guests step onto the property, they’ll feel a reimagined automotive experience,” said Mario Biundo, president of Precision Honda. “Every handshake, every service call, every vehicle delivery should be thoughtful and intentional. Precision means respecting people’s time, understanding their needs, and delivering with clarity and excellence — the precision way.”
Beyond car sales, the new facility will celebrate Downey’s automotive legacy. A special exhibit inside the dealership will highlight the company’s history in the community, while a digital billboard will display images of the iconic automotive corner where the I-5 and 605 freeways meet.
Precision Honda is also home to Precision Racing L.A., a championship-winning motorsports team formerly known as L.A. Honda World Racing. The team, headquartered in Downey, was the first factory-authorized Honda dealership to participate in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and SRO Touring Car Championship. A forthcoming in-house exhibit will showcase the race team’s achievements, including highlights from its 2023 championship season, race simulators, and a trophy display.
As Honda prepares to serve as a sponsor for the 2028 Summer Olympics, Precision Honda plans to host Olympic watch parties, vehicle showcases, and community celebrations tied to the Games.
The dealership employs more than 150 people and operates seven days a week. Sales hours are Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the service department is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
