QuickBooks training available

DOWNEY - Beginning in October, the Downey Chamber of Commerce will provide free QuickBooks training to small business owners in Downey.The training is offered in collaboration with Professional Career Education and made possible through funding by the Employment Training Panel. Workshops range from QuickBooks to e-commerce strategies. A series of workshops will also help entrepreneurs develop a business plan. "We are responding to the many requests that we've received from our members regarding the need to learn accounting software," said Susan Nordin, executive director of the Downey Chamber of Commerce. "We're very excited about the QuickBooks launch in October. Each workshop will provide Downey's small business owners with professional tools to help run their businesses more successfully."
