Race for the Cure taking registration

LOS ANGELES - Registration is underway for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure taking place March 6 at Dodger Stadium.The event, now in its 15th year, is a 5K that typically draws thousands of runners and walkers. This year, the event will feature a live performance by rock band Juke Kartel, whose hit single, "Brightest Star," has become the anthem for breast cancer survivorship. "This year is about sharing the pride of survivorship, the advances in breast cancer supported by Susan G. Komen and the people who continue the fight against breast cancer by running/walking and celebrating with us each year," said Deb Anthony, executive director of the L.A. County affiliate.
