Rachel Lee Gleason

Rachel Lee Gleason, 51, joyously celebrated New Year's with cherished friends, Bob and Cheryl Van Rensselaer. Early on January 1, 2009 Grandma Wilda and the rest of the angels quietly came and freed her from the pain and suffering that she faithfully endured for over 20 years.Rachel leaves a legacy of love in her life's work as the "TM" mother of darling Sumner and precious Samantha. Her loving nature touched beloved parents Ralph and Ellen McRae Osterbauer, brothers and sisters, father Herbert Lester Gleason, extended family and friends including Michelle Watson and kindred spirit Cheryl Lindsay. Rachel never met anyone she didn't ultimately love. Her ability to forgive, to persevere inspired all. Hopeful and optimistic by nature, meticulous, and deeply spiritual at her core, Rachel became a seeker of truth, with her love of the Savior sustaining and comforting her. During her debilitating illness, at 37 Rachel graduated from Cal State Fullerton with honors. When she felt well spontaneous adventures occurred as she was determined to live to raise her children. Rachel never stopped praying, trusting her Savior and His promises to help her as she sought for healing answers from dedicated medical professionals and alternative health providers.
