Realtors raise money for local causes

DOWNEY - Members of the Downey Association of Realtors conducted various fundraisers throughout the year and raised $500 for several local organizations.Realtors donated money to the TLC Family Resource Center, Downey City Library, Arc of Southeast Los Angeles County, Downey YMCA, Music in the Schools program and the 10-20 Club. The Downey Association of Realtors received its charter from the National Association of Realtors in November of 1946. Today, the association has more than 1,800 realtors, MLS-only and affiliate members in the Downey and surrounding areas.
