Ronald John Bannon (78) passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the Prime Care Facility Home in Bellflower, CA.

Ronald was born on May 24, 1943 in Glens Falls, NY to William and Isabel (Goldsmid) Bannon. He went to Glens Falls High School. Ronald enlisted in the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War. He moved to California and was employed with Gannett Outdoor. He was married 42 years to Joyce (Watson) Bannon who passed away suddenly November 30, 2020 at the age of 76. Ronald and Joyce resided at their home in Downey since 1978. They enjoyed family and friends. Ronald enjoyed karate. Ronald belonged to Al Malaikah Koppers, he and Joyce helped to raise money for The Shriners Hospital for Children. Joyce was a CPA and was employed with Granitze.

Ronald was preceded by his parents William and Isabel; brother, Edward Bannon and wife, Eleanor; his children: Scott Steven, and T.J. (Thomas John), Mickey (Michelle); his brother Donald and wife, Joan Bannon. Ronald is survived by sisters: Evelyn Philo and Carol and Gordon Stockman of Queensbury, NY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Susan Stockman, Timothy Stockman, Amy Jobe, Donald Bannon Jr., Isabel Natividad, and Stephanie Bannon. Joyce Bannon is survived by sister, Marsa Rider and nephew, Van.
