Rosario "Rosie" Shelton

Rosie (Rosario) Esther Shelton, Daughter of Hermon Julio Cossio and Esther Julia Okamura Cossio was born on September 5, 1959 in Lima, Peru. Rosie was the oldest of three (3) children and had one younger brother named Herman Joseph Cossio and one younger sister named Sandra Elizabeth Cossio Goldberg.

Rosie was born in Peru in 1959 and then moved in 1963 to New Britain, Connecticut with her family when she was four (4) years old. Rosie and her family then moved from the cold east coast winters to the warm California sunshine in 1968.

Rosie (13 years old) met her husband Paul (12 years old) in their 1st period class in the 7th grade and have always celabrated May 19th, 1973 as the date when Paul asked her to start ‘Going Around’, 53 years in total. Rosie Cossio married Paul Shelton on March 7th, 1981 — 45 years.

Rosie’s family included her husband Paul, son Joshua and wife Kari, daughter Katrina, son Tyler and wife Melissa, son Mason and wife Jacquelyn. Grandchildren Brooklyn, Jaxson, Wyatt, Zachary and Jaden, brother Herman J. Cossio and wife Nikki and sister Sandra Cossio Goldberg, nephew Brandon Goldberg, nephew Luke Goldberg.
