Scott Carter will wed Kianey Givens

Downey native Scott Carter and Kianey Givens, of Anaheim, are excited to announce their engagement to be married. Son of longtime Downey residents Jeff and Peggy Carter, Scott attended Warren High School before graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 2002. Scott, currently the senior vice president of marketing for the Fresno Grizzlies (minor league baseball affiliate of the San Francisco Giants), met Kianey, a television producer for KMPH Fox 26 in Fresno, through an appearance on her morning show.
