'Shrek' opening in Costa Mesa

COSTA MESA - "Shrek the Musical," the story of a swamp-dwelling ogre who goes on a life-changing adventure to reclaim the deed to his land, opens at the Segrestrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa on Oct. 4 for a two-week engagement.The musical is based on the story and characters from William Steig's book "Shrek!", as well as the DreamWorks animated film.
