Sister Cities cuts cost of membership

DOWNEY - The Downey Sister Cities Association is holding a membership drive to coincide with this Saturday's Downey Street Faire and a May 26 fundraiser at the Columbia Memorial Space Center.During this time new members can join at half-price ($7.50 per person or $14.50 per family). Established in 1956, the Downey Sister Cities is in the process of adopting its sixth city: Downey, Ireland. Club members are departing this Sunday for a 5-day trip to Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico.
