Spanish dancers visiting library

DOWNEY - In celebration of National Library Week, Alina Mendez and the Fiesta Dancers will perform at the Downey City Library on Thursday from 7-7:45 p.m.Mendez, an award-winning local teacher, will present stories, music and dances from Mexico, Spain and Caribbean. "This lively performance with audience participation is perfect for children ages 3-12 and their parents," said Children's Librarian Gina Orello. "Be sure to arrive early to see this colorful program for the whole family."
