DOWNEY — Stonewood Center is continuing its ongoing renovation and retail expansion with several new store openings and upgrades aimed at enhancing the shopping experience at the longtime Downey mall.
Mall officials announced this week that fashion retailer Windsor, jewelry retailer Torre & Co Jewelers, and an expanded See’s Candies location are joining the center’s growing lineup of retailers.
“We’re excited to continue introducing new retail experiences and expanded offerings for our guests,” Stonewood Center General Manager Vito Bello said in a statement. “These additions reflect the continued momentum at the center and our commitment to creating a vibrant destination for the Downey community.”
Windsor officially opened May 15 near H&M, bringing its women’s fashion and special occasion apparel to the shopping center. The retailer is known for trend-focused styles and affordable fashion.
Torre & Co Jewelers is expected to open later this month near JCPenney. According to the announcement, the jewelry store will offer personalized service along with a selection of fine jewelry pieces.
Meanwhile, See’s Candies is relocating to a larger space near Buffalo Wild Wings, with the new store scheduled to open May 29. The upgraded location will feature a refreshed design and expanded layout intended to improve the customer experience.
The additions are part of a broader transformation underway at Stonewood Center, which has been undergoing phased renovations throughout the property. Mall officials said construction is being completed in stages to minimize disruptions while retailers and restaurants remain open during the project.
