Strike Force

GU12 Strike Force of AYSO Downey Region 24 won the GU12 Commissioner’s Cup Tournament to earn a spot in the Area 11 Z Playoffs. With only nine players and no subs, Strike Force advanced to the semifinals, where they lost to Lakewood, 1-0, ending their season. “The girls played with a lot of heart, great teamwork and perseverance,” said Coach Oscar Hernandez.

The team includes Ally, Roxi, Kayla, Hailey, Alyssa N., Isabella, Linda, Chelsea, Alissa H., Melissa M., Lluvia, Melissa H. and team manager Jackie.
