Summer fashions put on display

DOWNEY - The Downey Newcomers Club will host their annual spring fashion show May 4 at the Rio Hondo Event Center.Themed "Shopping for Fashion," fashions will be supplied by the Glory M'lou Boutique of Los Alamitos. Club president Kim Yeager and other club members will be modeling the new spring and summer fashions. A social hour begins at 10:30 a.m. and the luncheon begins at 11:30, followed by the fashion show at 12:30 p.m. The cost of the event is $25, which includes lunch and the fashion show.
