Warren High students pass college animation test

DOWNEY – Warren High recently sent a group of 10 animation students to Mount San Antonio College to participate in a college-level animation course. All 10 students passed the course, the first time all students have passed since the agreement between Warren and Mt. SAC went into effect in 2011.

The students included Ivanna Calderon, Michelle Gonzalez, Alexandra Gresl, Keira Real, Andrea Rosas, Natalie Trejo, Christian Espinoza, Andy Hernandez, George Martinez and George Perez.

“Downey Unified’s vision is to have all students graduate with a 21st Century education that ensures they are college and career ready, globally competitive and citizens of strong character,” DUSD officials said.
