Women’s Empowerment Conference returns to Downey with new sponsorship opportunities

DOWNEY — The Downey Chamber of Commerce will bring back its Women’s Empowerment Conference this spring, combining professional development, networking and community support with expanded sponsorship opportunities for local businesses.
The conference is scheduled for Friday, March 20, at the Rio Hondo Event Center. Check-in and networking will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the program and lunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $70 per person.
This year’s theme is “Kentucky Derby Afternoon Tea,” with the event designed to celebrate and empower women through connection, inspiration and shared experiences in a relaxed, elegant setting.
In addition to ticket sales, the Chamber is offering several sponsorship levels aimed at giving businesses visibility before and during the event.
The top-tier Triple Crown Sponsor level is $4,000 and is limited to three companies. Benefits include the opportunity to address the conference, a complimentary event booth, eight admission passes, a full-page flyer in the event program, and company logo placement on all event advertising and media.
The Winner’s Circle Sponsor level is $2,500 and includes a complimentary event booth, six admission passes, a half-page flyer in the event program, and logo placement on all event advertising and media.
Businesses can also participate as a Photo Finish Sponsor for $1,000. This level includes four admission passes, company logo placement on all event advertising and media, a dedicated email blast to all Chamber members with sponsor-provided content, and a social media story post.
Smaller sponsorship and participation options are also available. The Starting Gate Sponsor level costs $500 and includes two admission passes and a dedicated email blast to Chamber members. A limited number of vendor booths are available for $300, which include booth space and lunch for vendors, though product sales are not permitted. The Program Supporter option, priced at $50, allows businesses to place a business card in the event program.
