Women's Empowerment Expo returns for second year

DOWNEY — The Downey Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Empowerment Expo, a sold out event last year, is returning next month, organizers announced.

The Embassy Suites in Downtown Downey is hosting the expo, which will feature a panel of speakers across various industries. Speakers have not been announced yet.

The expo is scheduled for Friday, March 8, from 11 am to 2 pm.
