You can recycle your Christmas tree starting today

DOWNEY - Residents are reminded to properly dispose of their Christmas trees by placing them on the curb on their trash pick-up day.

Downey offers free Christmas tree recycling Dec. 26 through Jan. 10. Trees can also be dropped off at the city maintenance yard located at 12324 Bellflower Blvd., behind Independence Park. Place the tree in the bin outside the yard.
