NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FEES AND CHARGES FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Downey will hold a Public Hearing on June 24, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, at the Downey Council Chambers, located at 11111 Brookshire Ave., Downey, CA 90241, concerning proposed increases and decreases to certain miscellaneous fees and charges for services or regulatory activity provided by the City.

All interested persons may present oral comments and information at the Public Hearing or may e-mail public comments to ccpubliccomment@downeyca.org or submit their written comments to the City Clerk’s Office in person at 11111 Brookshire Ave., Downey, CA 90241, no later than 2:00 p.m. on the day of the Public Hearing.
The data supporting proposed increases to certain miscellaneous fees and charges for services or regulatory activity provided by the City will be available for review beginning Friday, June 13, 2025, at the City Clerk’s Office, during regular office hours or by visiting the City’s website at https://www.downeyca.org/our-city/departments/city-clerk/agendas-city-documents. This Notice and the scheduled Public Hearing is intended to comply with the provisions of Government Code Section 66018.
