Excluded neighborhoods

Dear Editor:I am very happy that Mayor Guerra's eyesight is correcting as it should. Sorry but I have a complaint to make. I just read his schedule for walks. Sorry, but I can't attend one walk because I have eye problems that do not allow me to drive after dark. Also, why isn't he walking this end of Downey? I live in the forgotten section (by Guerra and the council). I live between the 5 Freeway and Telegraph and Paramount and the San Gabriel River. You remember us when it is election time but forget us as soon as the election is over. To the council: I see that a small section of Paramount is going to be repaved. Well, a big whoop for them! How many years have you been promising to repave Lakewood Boulevard between Florence and Telegraph? Someplace else always seems more important to them. Stop making promises you do not plan to keep.
