Senior Lindsey Ray of Long Beach Poly was selected as the Dream Team Player of the Year. For her outstanding effort during the 2012 season, Miley was selected co-MVP of the San Gabriel Valley League and First Team All-CIF Division II-AA. Lady Viking and senior teammate Makayla Taylor was selected to the Second Team of the Dream Team. Taylor worked her way back from a serious knee injury she suffered during the Lady Viking soccer season to earn this honor. Taylor also played an instrumental role in leading the Lady Vikings to another San Gabriel Valley League title and C.I.F. run. Miley and Taylor provided a solid 1-2 punch after Taylor returned to the lineup for the Downey-Warren match. Coach Andrea Sims was quoted as saying "we are now whole again" after Taylor's return. Besides Taylor, senior Brianna Cervantes of Warren and senior Aaliyah Heckard of Gahr were the only other S.G.V.L. players who shared Second Team selection honors.
