Open house at historical society

DOWNEY - The Downey Historical Society is hosting an open house Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be offering tours of its museum and the historical Dismukes House.There will also be "special historic Christmas exhibits" and refreshments. The historical society is located at Apollo Park, 12540 Rives Ave.
