Church announces new senior pastor

DOWNEY - Dr. Danny Posada has been selected as senior pastor at First Baptist Church of Downey, the congregation announced today.Posada and his wife, Linda, relocated to Downey from central Florida. They join two adult sons and three grandchildren who already live in California. Posada received a bachelor of business administration degree in Accounting and Finance from Florida International University and earned Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees at the Anderson Graduate School of Theology. "We look forward to years of ministry under his leadership and welcome you to worship with us on Sundays at 9:15 a.m.," the church said in a statement.
