Golf tournament for ovarian cancer awareness

DOWNEY - The seventh annual Elizabeth Miller Memorial Golf Tournament takes place Aug. 7 at the Rio Hondo Golf Club with proceeds benefiting the Ovarian Cancer Orange County Alliance for ovarian cancer awareness.The 18-hole tournament is open to men and women, and features a four-person scramble format. Cost is $150 per person for golf and dinner or $30 for dinner only. Sponsorships range from $100 to $6,000. Deadline for registration is Aug. 1.
