Hardware store announces giveaway winner

DOWNEY - Downey resident Rizal Ordanes was chosen the winner of Hometown Hardware & Garden's $1,000 shopping giveaway.Ordanes was selected at random from more than 2,000 entries submitted between March and May. "Everyone has a few extra chores this time of year, and we're glad that Rizal was able to choose whatever she wanted to get the job done," said store owners Greg Fuller and Ray Brown. "We thank all those who entered the giveaway for their participation." Hometown Hardware & Garden opened last summer and will celebrate its one-year anniversary July 6 with free tacos, giveaways and music.
