Immigration reform
Dear Editor:I am for immigration reform - no amnesty needed. Just round up all of the scattered immigrants, reform them into groups and send them home. Reformed immigration accomplished. The positive result will be a cut in our welfare costs, a cut in our medical costs and no more overcrowded jails. There will be no more people clamoring for civil rights when they don't have any. Let them see how far they will get when they get home and fill their streets with their screaming and yelling. Their children are taught English in schools (another expense cut) but the minute school is over, their parents picking them up are talking to them in their language. They could be learning from their children. If you are going to be deported, then take your children with you or leave them there with relatives. You made this mess, so you can clean it up. We have laws made to deport these illegal people, so why don't we enforce them? We don't need all of this chaos. If our president won't enforce these laws, then we definitely need a new president. Amnesty is nothing but a gift for a wrongdoer. If you are here illegally, then you are living your days the same way. That could account for a rise in crime and overcrowded jails. Wake up, you citizens of the United States. Our country is being sold short for a few greedy legislators. Betty Stockton Downey
