2-mile run/walk Feb. 15

DOWNEY - Registration is now being accepted for the Help 2 Heal A Heart two-mile run/walk taking place Saturday, Feb. 15 at Griffiths Middle School.The event is a fundraiser for the Always a Mom Foundation, which provides support and resources to mothers whose child has been diagnosed with a short-term terminal illness or who have experienced the sudden loss of a child. The run/walk begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by an awards ceremony at 10. Registration is $30 if paid in advance or $35 at the event, and includes a T-shirt, bib and goodie bag.
