Artists sought for church's Songfest

DOWNEY - An art exhibit will be featured at this year's 22nd Annual Interfaith and Multi-Cultural Songfest on Saturday, March 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.Lois Buchanan, Songfest organizer, is encouraging local artists to share their work. The art exhibit will be open to the public from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Songfest is from 7-8 p.m. Artists must provide their own easels, and security will be provided for the exhibit. Artists wishing to exhibit their work should contact Lois Buchanan at (562) 927-9790. The church is at 12425 Orizaba Ave.
