'God of Carnage' opening in La Mirada

LA MIRADA - Limited engagement performances of the comedy "God of Carnage," the 2009 Tony Award winner for best play, begin Jan. 24 at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.In "God of Carnage," a playground altercation between 11-year-old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the evening progresses, the gloves come off and the night becomes a side-splitting free-for-all. "God of Carnage" will preview Jan. 24. The show runs through Feb. 16 with performances at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 p.m. on Fridays, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays.
