Short films to premiere in Downey

DOWNEY - Three short films will be screened at the Epic Lounge on Sunday, Jan. 26, including the premiere of "Loveland," the latest work by Downey filmmaker Polaris Castillo.Also screened will be "Windmill" and "Effusion." According to the Downey Arts Coalition, the trio of films "spans from dark, psychological territory to psycho-sexual thriller and whimsical romance." Admission to the screening is free and filmmakers and cast members will be in attendance. The screening begins at 6 p.m. and is offered by Movie Club of Downey.
