Bank giving away $6K to local groups

DOWNEY – Simplicity Bank is donating $1,000 to six local organizations through a Facebook contest called “Your cause. Our Cash.” Beginning May 19, Simplicity Bank’s Facebook page will begin accepting nominations. Deadline for nominations is May 30, and voting begins June 2.

The six winners will be announced June 16. The top six organizations with the most votes each win $1,000.
