Christmas decorations

Dear Editor: When I saw the flags decorating Downey Avenue for the food festival I remembered with fondness the lovely Christmas decorations we had at Downey Avenue and Firestone Boulevard when I was a child.

I would love to see our city’s main streets decorated for the holidays. My recollections include reindeers and Santa and snowman and candy canes; tinsel and lights.
