Downey’s 16u girls travel team

Downey’s 16u girls travel team won the AYSO Region 638 Quartz Hill soccer tournament, defeating 19u teams. Downey defeated Tricon, 2-0; Quartz Hill, 5-0; and Quartz Hill Flex, 1-0, to reach the finals against Palmdale, which Downey won, 6-0. Top row: Juliza, Cassandra, Julia, Leslie, Brittany, Veronica, and Destiny. Second row: Dhagami, Valerie, Theresa, Natalie, Julissa, Brinda, and Coach Jorge Ramirez. Missing: Coach Jose, Somer, Suzette and Bianca.
