Lucille Veltri mourned

DOWNEY – Lucille Veltri died peacefully Oct. 1 at the age of 91. She was born in Morgan City, La., to Mary and Nick Orlando. She married Tony Veltri in 1947.

Lucille spend her life raising her two children. She would go on to have four grandsons and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tony; grandson, Jeffrey; and sister, Nancy.

She is survived by her children, John, and his wife, Jill; daughter, Tony; grandsons, Josh, Jeremy and John Jr.; and great-grandchildren Jeffrey, Hudson, Kylie, Mackenzie (a new baby on the way); sister Margie (Jack); and numerous nephews and nieces.

Services were entrusted to Miller Mies Downey Mortuary.
