Man fatally stabbed

DOWNEY – A man was fatally stabbed inside an apartment on the 7300 block of Florence Avenue early Thursday morning, police said. Police officers responding to a 911 call at 2:26 a.m. found a man injured with multiple stab wounds. He later died.

Detectives have detained a woman for questioning. Her relationship to the victim is not know.

The victim’s name is not being released pending notification of next of kin. Anyone with additional information is asked to call the police department at (562) 904-2308.
